This is a short study course for coaches, teacher, fitness professionals and sport students working with athletes of varying abilities with the greater goal of performance improvement. Improving performance in athletic competition, sports conditioning involves developing exercise prescription plans that specifically modulate aerobic, resistance, and/or flexibility training to suit the metabolic and physical demands of the sport in question. Sports conditioning coaches also assist with injury prevention and correct anatomical and biomechanical sports enhancements.

Improving performance in athletic competition, sports conditioning involves developing exercise prescription plans that specifically modulate aerobic, resistance, and/or flexibility training to suit the metabolic and physical demands of the sport in question. The components of training covered on this workshop include strength, power, speed, agility as well as endurance.

Sports conditioning coaches also assist with injury prevention and correct anatomical and biomechanical sports enhancements and are a vital component of any technical team assigned to athletes.
