This workshop revisits the standard test battery that should be implemented on a client that has successfully completed a pre- participation screening procedure. The battery is made up of body fat testing via calipers, girth measurements, resting heart rate and blood pressure. A biomechanical exam is also included to compile an injury risk profile.
These procedures provide data that can be used to accurately prescribe exercise as well as a base for gauging improvements. It will also assist the trainer in deciding if the client requires external assistance if their profile indicates intervention outside their scope of practice.
